You can!

Do More with your stuff.
- Clothes: drop-off at local shelters, GoodWill, Salvation Army
- Shoes
- Books
- Toys: church nursery, daycares, pre-schools, shelters, waiting rooms at the car dealership, dentist, or doctor.
- Women's business suits, go to Dress for Success
- Furniture
- 'Wheels for the World' - got a wheelchair or other device to help you move? If you are done with it, donate it here.
Do More for the earth
- Find your local recycle center drop-off location. Learn the rules of recycling, put a couple large bins in your garage or under your sink, and you're on your way to recycling! Easy and so good for the earth
- Start a compost pile. Did you know that it is actually worse to throw your unused veggies and fruits in the trash? It creates terrible gases that pollutes. You can either purchase an actual 'compost' bucket or make your own. To make your own, make a little tower out of chicken wire and start layering! Compost, dirt, compost dirt, compost dirt. What to compost? Anything and everything of veggies & fruits (seeds, leaves, peals, rinds), washed egg shells, used coffee grounds.
- Plant a tree. This never grows old. Where to get a tree? Try your local nursery or join the Arbor Day Foundation.
- Pick up after yourself. If you venture out to go backpacking, camping, or even to the park, please pick up after yourself and make the area where you were look like as if you weren't even there.
- Adopt a trail
- Adopt a highway
- Adopt a river way
- Simply pick up any trash that you walk by and recycle it or throw it in the trash.
- Ride your bike to run your errands or go to work.
- Shop smarter: buy in bulk, it saves on packaging.
- Use reusable grocery sacks.
- Turn the water faucet off when you bruch your teeth.
- Use sponges instead of papertowels if possible.
- Try using clothe napkins instead of paper.
- Preserve the land and waters.
